We transform our spacious meeting space into a magical musical room with comfy couches and chairs. Cost: $20 per person suggested donation at the door. About our guest artists: Amy Young: Michigan singer-songwriter Amy Young started singing as a young girl in a small country church her family attended. Music turned into one of her short-lived majors at Western Michigan University after being unable to reconcile a degree in voice and starting a family in Michigan, which ultimately led to her career in Social Work. Fortunately; in time, life revealed that music can be a part of everything else, which is where her songs come from. “I write to process. I write to relate. The lyrics and feelings behind the music bring us together. Our stories may be different but how our stories impact us through celebration or suffering is common humanity, it's connection. We all need connection”. Travis Atkinson: Travis Atkinson is a singer-songwriter from Grand Rapids, MI. For over 20 years, Travis has performed for audiences on local and national stages, opening for some of the country's finest folk, Americana, and country bands. Travis' influences include folk, country, blues, and classic rock artists, including James Taylor, Dave Barnes, The Lone Bellow, The Eagles, Huey Lewis & the News, and Zac Brown Band. Travis is an eclectic performer with a catalog of over 100 original songs. Travis' charisma and dedication to his craft makes for a quality, entertaining experience for any audience.
