Come on out for some Family Fun in the City of Tavares, FL. Starting the day with a 4th of July Parade down Main St., live entertainment by The Hootz (Out of Nashville, TN) from 6PM-9PM. The family friendly event features community vendors, food trucks, and a family fun zone. To end the evening The Hootz will perform the National Anthem followed by Fireworks.
FREE ADMISSION, but seating will be limited, so please bring a chair or blanket, if you would like one. Free parking in the parking garage @ 200 N. Sinclair Ave.
The Hootz are a NEW uniquely original sounding, modern, fun show band like nothing else!
Combining the musical forces of Pop, Rock, Rap, Punk & of course traditional Country music; the Hootz stage show is one you have to experience to believe. Their addictive style and sound are created by four very distinct, musically superb characters, each specializing in their specific genre of music.
ROCK – Mr. Luke: Shredding on a flying V Acoustic Guitar and Lead Vocals
POP- Angel-LA: Sings lead while slapping the jewels off of her rhinestone studded Mini Ukulele Bass
COUNTRY- Fiddle: Getting’ a speeding tix with thee ole fiddle of Gold
HIP-HOP- Drums: Drops a beat and ties everything together with a specially designed electronic drum pad mixed with a live drum kit.
The Hootz have recently accompanied national acts such as Bret Michaels, Justin Lynch, Carrie Underwood, Aaron Lewis of Staind, Brad Paisley, Josh Thompson, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, Kellie Pickler, Easton Corbin, Kentucky Headhunters, Craig Campbell, Granger Smith, Justin Moore & most recently, Tyler Farr at the Wounded Warrior Concert.
This energetic band is also headlining a number of festivals throughout the US. Currently, The Hootz have widened their national tour as far as Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, New York, Florida & continue to add to their fan-base. Their single, Made in America, was recently released on Memorial Day, 2020, which was very well received having over 250k views in just a view months. This past year the band covered an old classic Hank Williams Sr. song called, Jambalaya (On The Bayou) and have made a great impression with their other songs like: The Rednecks Are Comin’, Drink About It, Show Me The Money, and the newest song & music video, Hands All Over Me.
