HYLYND Biography
Hylynd, born & raised in North Carolina & currently in Houston, Texas is a seasoned singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer & newly signed Musicbed artist.
His new upcoming self-titled 7 song EP titled, "KERLEY", co-produced with Jeffery Armstreet (producer & mixing engineer with over a quarter billion streams) marks the next step in his metamorphosis and builds off his self-produced full-length record, “Akabeni”, mixed by Jeffrey Armstreet & mastered by Idania Valencia (Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith) & his breakout EP, “Born In The Night”. When asked about his current shift to country soul pop, he says “it’s the most natural feeling music I’ve ever written."
The name itself, Hylynd, is a reflection of his multi-generational homage to his Irish & Scottish heritage. Hylynd’s artistry has been seasoned for two decades & began as the frontman for several groups molded by some top artists & producers in music, Nathan Walters (Gold-selling Artist and Producer), Stephen Christian (Anberlin) & Aaron Marsh (Copeland).
