Jes Cleland Biography
Jes Cleland is a lifelong music lover, educator, and songwriter dedicated to inspiring young minds through music. Growing up in a family of musicians, she immersed herself in choir, school band, and formal music education, shaping a career devoted to sharing the joy of music with children.
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood music education, Jes developed a unique preschool music curriculum that she first introduced in community centers and performing arts studios in Southern California. In 2013, she launched Music U in Nashville, where she continues to lead engaging classes that blend movement, dance, singing, literature, mindfulness, and music theory.
Now, she’s bringing her expertise and creativity to the world of children’s music, crafting songs designed to spark joy, curiosity, and a love for music in little listeners everywhere.
