Punk-Ikone Vivien Goldman kommt zurück nach Deutschland!
Die Punk-Ikone Vivien Goldman u.a. bekannt als Musikerin (The Flying Lizards, The Slits etc.), Autorin (u.a. "Die Rache der She-Punks: Eine feministische Musikgeschichte von Poly Styrene bis Pussy Riot") und Bob Marley-Vertraute und -Biografin kommt im Juni 2025 für einige Auftritte zurück nach Deutschland.
Das letzte Musik-Album der umtriebigen Lady namens "Next Is Now" erschien 2022, die deutsche Übersetzung ihres Buches "Die Rache der She-Punks" 2021, kurz darauf folgte die entsprechende Compilation auf Vinyl.
Im Herbst 2024 erschien ihr neuestes Buch "Rebel Musix, Scribe on a Vibe: Frontline Adventures Linking Punk, Reggae, Afrobeat and Jazz", eine Sammlung ihrer musikjournalistischen Arbeiten.
Vivien Goldman war und ist ihrer Zeit als radikal-feministische Denkerin und Künstlerin in vielerlei Hinsicht voraus.
Eine Musikerin, Künstlerin, Journalistin und Schriftstellerin, die schon immer nah am Beat der Zeit war und deren Einfluss auf die Popkultur noch immer aktuell und allgegenwärtig ist.
Ihre Auftritte versprechen eine interessante Mischung aus Lesung, Talk und Musikperformance zu werden.

Vivien Goldman Biography
Vivien Goldman released only a few songs into the world in 1981, but they are critically acclaimed. Her release, the Dirty Washing EP, had "Launderette" as the A-side, a track that was co-produced by John Lydon (Johnny Rotten).
Goldman also wrote articles for NME, Sounds and Melody Maker about reggae, punk and post-punk. She sang on the track "Windows" on the debut album of The Flying Lizards, launched the video career of flava flav, wrote songs for artists such as Massive Attack and wrote the first biography of Bob Marley among many other books about music. She is also an accomplished documentarian and currently is a professor for NYU’s Clive Davis School of Recorded Music.
