Tamara Kuldin Biography
Enamoured by the romance and sophistication of the golden era of song, sassy Australian vocalist Tamara Kuldin has been captivating audiences from Melbourne, New York to Paris with her playful, sultry and heartfelt interpretation of songs from The Great American Songbook, European classics to lesser known vintage jazz & blues gems.
A lover of storytelling through song, Tamara’s vivacity, vocal prowess and versatility has endeared her to some of the finest Australian and international jazz musicians. She’s been invited to sing with the likes of The B Sharp Big Band, Wycliffe Gordon, Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra as well as perform for a growing list of festivals and venues including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival, The Famous Spiegeltent, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, The Arts Centre Jazz High Tea, Melbourne Recital Centre, Birds Basement, Paris Cat Jazz Club, Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), Café Universal (Paris) & Ridotto of the Teatro Politeama (Prato, Italy).
With her trademark cheek, coquettish charm and captivating voice, Tamara is quickly garnering an exciting reputation as one to watch out for…she knows how to entertain and make an audience feel like they’re part of something special.
Singing in all shades of jazz, blues and multilingual affairs of song, Tamara explores the demurer and sweet side of song with her new evocative recording ‘Love, Longing & Lullabies’ to be released early 2017 and toured through Italy, France and Germany.
She's also the songbird for the delightful band 'NOSTALGIQUE'- a multilingual music box of song featuring Australian Jazz Manouche guitarist Jon Delaney, Jonathan Zion (double bass) and Salvatore Greco (double bass).
Miss her…and you’re missing out.
