About this concert
Join us for an exciting night of beautiful music and fond memories, as we celebrate 20 years of Broadway musicals at the Palace Theater! Together with a roster of Broadway performers, the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, conducted by five-time Emmy Award-winning producer & director Andrew Carl Wilk, will perform favorite selections from shows that have graced our stage since our reopening in 2004.
In addition to favorite musical numbers from shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Evita, and Dreamgirls, the show will feature the beloved classics “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” (The Wizard of Oz), “Memory” (Cats), and “Tomorrow” (Annie). Featured performers include Debbie Gravitte, Jess LeProtto, Andrea McArdle, Soara-Joye Ross, Antoine L. Smith, Allison Strong, Gene Taylor, and Donna Vivino.
Presented in partnership with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra. A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit the Palace Theater and WSO Education programs.

Allison Strong Biography
Hailed as “captivating” by Ben Brantley of the New York Times, ALLISON STRONG is an award-winning singer, songwriter and actor. Her second record Brontë, a six-song EP featuring her ethereal vocals and whimsical lyrics, was released in June 2023. She has had the honor of opening for Grammy + Latin Grammy Winning Duo Jesse & Joy, Country Icon LeAnn Rimes and Grammy-nominee Teddy Geiger.
Strong is best known for her starring role opposite Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in the Netflix comedy THE WEEK OF, for voicing beloved fifth grade teacher Mrs. Salinas the hit Netflix Animated Musical LEO starring Adam Sandler, the Emmy-winning series THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL and Broadway’s BYE BYE BIRDIE and MAMMA MIA! Her music and story were featured in Diego Luna’s documentary series BACK HOME, filmed in her family’s native Colombia. She is a 2023 NJ State Council on the Arts Music Composition Fellow.
