BYO drinks and nibbles BIOGRAPHY JUNGLE JIM SMITH We cant wait to welcome back Jungle Jim Smith to Sandy Point. His last performance saw the whole centre centre boppin to his amazing music . Armed with a 3-string cigar box guitar, trusty 6-string, and stompin’ foot drums, Jungle Jim Smith is a one-man-blues show with a rock’n’roll heart. Delivered with a raw vocal croon, his electrifying blend of swamp and hill country blues pumps with rockabilly grit, forging a full-band sound uniquely his own. Last year’s 7-track debut ‘Electric Boogieland’ was released to a great response, with a follow up album planned for 2024. ALLY ROW Currently based in Gippsland, Ally Row are an indie pop-folk duo changing the narrative of what it means to be 'indie-pop'. Multi-instrumentalists, they perform velvety vocal harmonies alongside blissful guitar and piano, with lustful and modernised elements of banjo, harmonica and stomp box. Always with a strong hook, their orignial material evokes a dreamy and synergystic mix of emotive song-making and story-telling. T And back in Gippsland, their tour schedule is as busy as ever with appearances on Triple M Gippsland and ABC Gippsland radio stations... and then taking out the 'winners title' at the busking competion in the prized Port Fairy Festival Street Fair.
