ONCE MORE, AUTUMN
A project rooted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s artistic soil, Evan Walton fronts Once More, Autumn. A transplant of Minneapolis and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Walton fuses indie folk elements with alternative textures. Propelled by the instrumentation of Jeremy Boettcher (S. Carey), Isaac John (Underneath Oceans), and Steve Shaw (The Bathtub Marys), the band melds atmospheric tones with lush, driving riffs. Paired with Walton’s introspective and emotive words, Once More, Autumn offers dynamic and earnest musical expression.
2025’s forthcoming EP “Foals” ushers in a return to live instrumentation and full band dynamics. The 5-track release marks a sonic shift for the band, but relies on familiar themes and depth. Foals is preceded by the 2023 single “Violet,” and 2021’s inaugural EP “Love is a Sea,” produced by longtime friend and collaborator Ro Lorenzen (Static Panic).
GREEN,
Green, is what you get when you combine the soaring emotions of U2, the gritty grunge of smashing pumpkins, and unapologetic gushiness of Radiohead. Born from the depths of quarantine, nobody knew how long the band would last. Nearly four years and two EPs later and green, is still evolving in sound and performance. Catch an energetic and impassioned live performance in a basement, bar, or venue near you!
OCEANOGRAPHER
Oceanographer is an indie folk band from Minneapolis, MN. Fronted by Val Lowry-Ortega, Oceanographer shines with influences of Laurel Canyon, 90s Dream Pop, and Post Punk. Their songs are lyric-forward, detailing the queer experience in small towns.
