Levi Gangi

With a "mature musical intuition" and singing that "overflows with sincerity" (Rochester CITY magazine), Levi's music creates a landscape. He tells stories using imagery, whether in his vocally-driven Americana songwriting or through arresting instrumental piano. Levi hails from the Finger Lakes region of New York state, where he has performed hundreds of shows since 2010. He grew up sitting way to close to the living room speakers, lost in everything from Beethoven to the Everly Brothers to Gordon Lightfoot. He isn't ashamed to say he used to sneak into the practice rooms behind the music majors in college to spend hours behind the piano. Levi has an enduring love for the magic and the sweat of songwriting, and is a champion for anyone who writes and performs their own music.
