Union32 Biography
The long-awaited return of Union32 is here, as the band prepares to release their new work, "The Crunge," on April 24th, 2023. For their latest, Union32 has taken on the challenge of reimagining Led Zeppelin's iconic album, "Houses of the Holy." It's a daunting task, but Union32 is up to the challenge. If you're familiar with Union32's debut album, you’re aware of the band’s adventurous playing style and unique take on classic tunes. With "The Crunge," they’re mining a similar vein, but this time around, they've amped up the sound to reflect the bigger and bolder sounds of the inspiration album.
What's more, "The Crunge" showcases a more personal expression from the band. While their debut recording was an excellent introduction to the group, this album promises to showcase the band's evolution and growth as musicians. They have managed to update the sound of the original album while still retaining the essence that made it so special in the first place. With this album, Union32 has truly found its voice, from the opening notes of "The Song Remains the Same" to the closing strains of "The Ocean," "The Crunge" is a tour-de-force of classic rock energy viewed through modern jazz sensibilities. The new album is a must-listen for any fan of instrumental music. Union32 has managed to create a sound that is fresh, and innovative, yet still pays homage to the iconic band that inspired them.
