The Art Of Pantera

In 2014 it was 10 years ago that guitarist Dimebag Darrell was shot and found dead on stage in Ohio USA.
This was for the band GODSCUM a reason to set up a Pantera tribute tour.
5 shows were booked with the name: Dimebag Darrell Tribute Tour.

The shows were a big success, people came from far to see the band perform, that exists out of very experienced musicians that already received their success.

Because of the big success the band decided to continue the band which led to a spot on the famous Graspop Metal Meeting in 2015 where the band played for approx. 10.000 crazy fans.

The band brings a tribute to the band PANTERA, the masters of Groove Metal.

Guitarist Marcel Coenen (GODSCUM, The Theater Equation, Channel Zero, Sun Caged, Stormrider, System Pilot) is a big Pantera fan since 1990 when the album 'Cowboys From Hell' was released. The guitar parts from Dimebag were very inspiring for Marcel. Also drummer Spike Meulders (Stormrider) is a big Pantera fan since that same album, he played in a local band at that time called 'FORM' where they played a similar music style.
For the vocals and the bass Marcel called his bandmates in GODSCUM: Steven Tolkamp and Jochen Fuenders. Steven was the singer of a Faith No More tribute band and currently also sings in the band Disabuse, and Jochen played in the past in the German band Holy Moses.

The Art Of Pantera guarantees a long setlist (until about an hour and a half) Pantera classics, played on such a professional level, that even the sound of the band comes close to the original Pantera. (Marcel even plays on a Dean DIME ML model , a Furman PQ3 and a Randall RG100es amp, the same equipment that Dimebag used in his Pantera days). The video's on youtube proof how good the band sounds.
