The evening could only be described as beautiful carnage. TDWP were awesome - energetic, vocals on fire, good crowd interaction. Such a great night and the crowd couldn't have been any more up for it.
The support acts were all great in different ways and by the time TDWP started their set, the place was ready to explode.
The O2 Academy is a great smaller venue. From doors opening to the first act only took 30 minutes, which was just enough time to get some merch and a drink. The staff were helpful, bet they never expected to be catching as many crowd surfers as they did, but they obliged regardless.

The Devil Wears Prada Biography
The Devil Wears Prada rely on contrast as they nimbly balance metallic turbulence, hardcore spirit, provocatively eloquent lyricism, and melodic exorcism. In between these opposing extremes, the band—Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [guitar, vocals], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synths, programming, production], Giuseppe Capolupo [drums], and Mason Nagy [bass]—have fashioned an ever-evolving signature style buttressed by layers of sonic hues. They’ve harbored this space since forming in 2005. Speaking to the band’s growing influence, fans voted 2009’s With Roots Above and Branches Below one of the “5 Greatest Metalcore Albums” in a Revolver poll as the outlet christened it “a true metalcore landmark.” The group have notched six consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, including Dead Throne [2011], 8:18 [2013], Space EP [2015], Transit Blues [2016], The Act [2019], and ZII EP [2021]. The latter served as a sequel to one of their most beloved projects 2010’s Zombie EP. Upon arrival, mxdwn applauded ZII as “phenomenal,” and Metal Injection went as far as to claim, “This mini-concept has outlived the zombie revival.” In the wake of the EP, the group exceeded a-quarter-of-a-billion cumulative streams and views. The Devil Wears Prada’s signature dynamic divergence defined the group’s eighth full-length offering, Color Decay [Solid State], which reacted in a big way. It not only piled up over 50 million streams, but it also received praise from Hysteria, Metal Hammer, and more. The band carried this excitement into a very special Deluxe Edition in 2023. They stripped down “Broken,” “Salt,” “Sacrifice,” and “Cancer” with emotionally charged and arresting acoustic renditions, added two live tracks, and remixes by Fairlane and Ray Volpe in addition to the new originals “Reaching” and “Ignorance.”
