Ty Trehern Biography
Ty Trehern is an alternative artist focused on pushing boundaries. Dubbed “a fresh new voice of the New American South” by American Songwriter, Trehern showcases his musical evolution on his newly released singles - Glass, Staring at the Sun, and Use Me. Recorded with Jonathan Dolese (Cane Hill, Sakoya, Reece Young) at Konkrete Studios in Nashville, TN, the singles present a new side of Trehern to listeners - one that is deeply rooted in a more mature, vigorous, and high-energy body of sound.
The singles follow Trehern’s debut full-length LP, "Dear Dichotomy," a fully independent effort that landed him on the Top 50 of iTunes Alternative Charts upon the album’s release. However, rather than looking inward to find conceptual inspiration (akin to what came before on "Dear Dichotomy"), Trehern uses the new material as an opportunity to explore his perspectives on the people and circumstances that surround him.
