Sleep House Biography
SLEEP HOUSE is a four-piece outfit based out of the Philadelphia/South Jersey region. The unit began in 2016 during their freshman year of high school. A combination of two former bandmates and two brothers, bonding over their love for artists such as The Strokes, Hippo Campus, and John Mayer, led them to start writing music and playing at local open mics. Since then, the band has released two EPs independently, multiple singles, and have toured the East Coast. The band’s previous effort, “High Tide” released back on August 18, 2020 featuring the soaring single “Skydiving In Dubai”.
The group’s new single, “Funny, Funny”, is to be released in the fall of 2021 as their first release in over a year. It encapsulates the feelings of uncertainty and irony that most people have felt over the past year towards themselves and society. With this release, Sleep House has found a deeper, more intimate side of themselves that hasn’t been discovered before. In many ways, “Funny, Funny” marks only a glimpse at what is yet to come.
