Mad Ice Biography
Mad Ice is a Ugandan-born singer-songwriter who debuted on the music scene in 2003 with his hit song "Baby Gal", which dominated the East African radio charts for years. Over the years, Mad Ice's musical style has evolved from BongoFleva/Ragga to a more profound and soulful sound that carries the weight of his experiences without losing melodic intensity. Some of his other popular hits include "Rose (Nimedata)", "Wange", "Te Amo", and "Mapenzi Sumu".
Mad Ice has performed at various international stages and venues, captivating audiences with his soulful voice and energetic performances across Pop, jazz, and world music stages. His musical style is Afro-Soul, a unique fusion of Soul music and African melodies and he sings primarily in Swahili, Luganda, and English.
