Copperhead Jones Biography
Since the success of his debut single No One Givin' Up Copperhead Jones has been rapidly building momentum, emerging as a vital new voice in the Texas Country scene. As a Navy veteran with roots in Florida and Texas, his plainspoken stories of country life have struck a chord across audiences across the country. His latest releases showcase his remarkable evolution as an artist. Blending gritty-rock energy with small-town authenticity, Copperhead’s newest songs fearlessly search for meaning and authenticity in the lives of everyday people.
Copperhead was born in Greenville, SC and raised in Cocoa, FL. He honed his skills as a musician while attending both the University of Central Florida and Baylor University. After enlisting in the Navy, Copperhead embraced the military lifestyle. He traveled extensively, learning to connect with diverse individuals while gathering inspiration for the songs that would later form his breakthrough full -length album Anchor.
After the warm reception of his debut, Copperhead settled in the small town of Midlothian, TX. He and his newly assembled band began performing regularly across the state, winning over devotees at every turn thanks to their impassioned, high energy shows. Battle-hardened by years on the road, Copperhead entered Steel Records Studios. The resulting tracks are the most compelling of his career, putting him in line to become a mainstay in Texas Country with songs like The Creek - Steel Cuts and Leavin This Town
