About this concert
Acoustic songwriting show Brady Seals is a seasoned singer-songwriter and artist whose musical legacy is woven with rich family ties to industry icons like Jimmy (Seals & Crofts) and Dan Seals and country songwriters Troy and Chuck Seals. Over the course of his career, Seals has sold over 11 million albums, earned top chart positions across three genres, and secured numerous TV, radio, and film placements. He is best known for his time with Little Texas, where he served as keyboardist and co-lead singer, helping the band achieve multi-platinum status and earn two Grammy nominations. Hits like “What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas,” and “My Love” — all co-written by Seals — became #1 hits, and he was honored with the ASCAP Triple Play Award. Seals also enjoyed success as a solo artist, with his collaborations with Rodney Crowell and Wynonna Judd, as well as his ventures into pop/rock with his album Thompson Street, showcasing his versatility as a musician. In 2002, Seals formed Hot Apple Pie, dubbed “Music City’s Super Group,” with the band’s debut album becoming the highest-selling debut country album in the Nielsen SoundScan era. Their hit single “Hillbillies Love It In The Hay” reached the Top 20, and the music video hit #1 on VH1 Country. Seals went on to perform at major festivals and alongside country stars like Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. In 2016, he formed Seals & Crofts 2 with Lua Crofts, breathing new life into classic Seals & Crofts hits and adding original material. That same year, he joined The Petty Junkies, a Tom Petty tribute band featuring Nashville’s top musicians. In 2024, Seals released a re-recorded version of his hit “My Love” to celebrate its 30th anniversary, marking the first single from his upcoming Greatest Hits & A Few Family Gems album. Additionally, Seals & Crofts 2 debuted their single “Runnin’ to the Sun” in the fall of 2024, and Seals was recently inducted into the Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame.

Brady Seals Biography

Singer/songwriter/artist Brady Seals has a pedigree for success. You could say that music is “in his blood,” as he is related to numerous industry heavyweights including Jimmy Seals (Seals & Crofts), Dan Seals (England Dan & John Ford Coley), and country songwriters Troy Seals (Songwriting Hall of Fame Member) and Chuck Seals.  Over the course of his career, Brady Seals has sold over 11 million albums, topped three genres simultaneously, and his songs continue to captivate audiences and attract licenses for TV, radio, and film.

A touring musician since the age of 16, Brady Seals is probably best known for his tenure in Little Texas (Warner Brothers). During his six years as keyboardist and co-lead singer for the multi-platinum group, they were voted the ACM’s "Vocal Group of the Year" and received two Grammy nominations. Little Texas celebrated three consecutive number one hits with “What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas” and “My Love,” all of which Seals co-wrote, granting him the ASCAP “Triple Play Award.”

In 1996 Seals pursued a solo career, collaborating with the legendary Rodney Crowell to co-produce his Warner Brothers album, The Truth.  It features a duet with Wynonna Judd, “Another You, Another Me” which sold over 100,000 singles. A self-titled CD followed in 1998 with guest appearances by Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Timothy B. Schmidt (The Eagles), Bela Fleck, and Max Carl (.38 Special).  Seals then explored the pop/rock genre from 1999-to 2001 by engineering, producing, and writing the album Thompson Street, collaborating with pop innovator Andy Sturmer (Jellyfish).

In 2002 Seals formed Hot Apple Pie (DreamWorks). Comprised of extraordinary musicians, the music industry dubbed the band “Music City’s Super Group."  Hot Apple Pie’s self-titled debut was released in 2005 featuring country music icon, Willie Nelson.  The band quickly made history when they became the highest-selling debut country group in the Neilson Soundscan era.  Their entry single “Hillbillies Love It In The Hay” went Top 20.  The video shot to #1 on VH-1 Country and was among CMT’s “Top 20 Sexiest Videos.”

Seals spent the next two years with Hot Apple Pie playing large venues in North America and Canada.  They played the Grand Ole Opry, major festivals such as Summerfest, and opened for country giants Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.  Fans clamored for tickets to see and hear their live show as word spread about the amazing musicianship and Seals’ “Jagger-esque” stage appeal.  Hot Apple Pie gained the respect of music industry insiders and established acts due to their tight harmonies, agile playing skills, and charismatic stage antics.

In 2008 Seals released an independent solo CD called “Playtime” featuring friends, Richard Marx and Stan Lynch (Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers) and hit the road again. He spent two years performing in clubs, theatres, and other venues across the country.

When 2015 rolled around Seals along with his friend and co-writer, Gordon Kennedy founded the songwriter show called Music City Pickers LIVE! featuring artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), Richie McDonald (Lonestar), Peter Frampton, and many other hit-makers.

In 2016 Brady paired up with Lua Crofts (daughter of Darrell "Dash" Crofts) to form Seals & Crofts 2. Audiences can now experience the music of the 70s rock duo Seals & Crofts in a whole new way. They can hear the hits Summer Breeze, Diamond Girl, and We May Never Pass This Way (Again), artfully re-imagined with a reverent nod to the past. The project will feature many popular Seals & Crofts classics, as well as new songs from Seals & Crofts 2.

2016 also brought on another musical project for Seals. He was also asked to front a Tom Petty tribute band called The Petty Junkies. The group is comprised of the who's who of Nashville professional studio musicians and artists who have been very successful in their own right. Well over 300 hit songs have been penned, played on, sung, or produced by the members of this band.
