Castletown Biography
Portland, OR based "Castletown" was formed in 2011 and has a sound best described as "AmeriCeltic," blending the heart and soul of traditional Irish reels with modern folk, blues, jazz and country influences.
Known for their engaging live performances they perform as both a duo and with their full band. Castletown’s latest release titled “Traditions” features 15 songs from the band.

"Castletown's new release "Traditions" is a gem and a great listen. Their original songs and arrangements of traditional Celtic and Americana classics is refreshing and their energy and passion shows through with every song.
Kudos to the melodic fiddle playing and vocals. Their rendition of the classic "Sixteen Tons" takes the song to a whole new level as do many of the 15 songs on the CD. Well done folks! Morry Feldman - WQED-FM Pittsburgh PA
