Veronneau bring a full band to DC's legendary Blues Alley feature Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau & British guitarist Ken Avis, with special guests Karine Chapdelaine (upright bass), Dave Kline (violin) and Manny Arciniega (percussion), to performi the music of two iconic artists, two iconic albums - Joni Mitchell's "Blue" & Carole King's "Tapestry". In songs and stories Veronneau bring to life the music of these two great artists which launched the singer-songwriter era of the 1970's and put women center-stage as composers and performers. Unforgettable songs, like "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow", "I Feel the Earth Move Under My Feet", "River", "Carey", "You've Got A Friend"...don't hesitate to sing along!

Veronneau Biography
Based in the Washington DC area, this international band led by sensational Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau have toured in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US, and have enjoyed 3 Top 10 album releases in the Jazz and World Music charts.
The band have received seven awards in the US mid-Atlantic region for "Best Jazz Group," "Best Jazz Vocals", "Best Jazz Recording", and play regularly at large festivals as well as on major stages such as The Kennedy Center, Strathmore and Blues Alley.
Véronneau was formed in 2010 by French Canadian vocalist Lynn Véronneau and her husband, British guitarist Ken Avis, . The couple met a decade ago while performing at a festival in Switzerland. Each performed widely in Canada, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe before teaming up in the U.S.
Lynn's rich and captivating voice has an intonation and emotional quality reminiscent of Eva Cassidy, but carries more force, approaching that of compatriot Céline Dion. She has been compared to Astrud Gilberto and Stacey Kent in style and delivery.
