Super Mega Deluxe Biography
Picture this. Music sounding as good as food from an LA taco truck tastes. Yes! And the salsa so hot, your tongue burning, your face is sweating, but you MUST have more? Enter Super Mega Deluxe, a band compelled by the power of chunky guitar riffs and razor sharp vocal hooks so deadly they belong in a bait & tackle shop.
The sound is a blunt force rock mix of alternative, sludge, and desert rock. Sprinkle over with a dash of grunge, garnish with a blue album chorus songwriting sensibility and BOOM! The combination makes for a Greater Los Angeles style metal block party with Felipe Esparza's little brother chugging his guitar like a headbanging maniac while Jesus Cantrell and Luis Staley belt out a catchy yet gritty chorus. All this played alongside bombastic drums and beastly bass grooves reminiscent of something familiar but simultaneously fresh. Check out their latest single "Bitch Pay Me".
Recorded and produced at Happy Dungeon Studios by Victor Alfaro (Christian Death) and mixed by TJ Rivera, (Rancid, The Interrupters, Epitaph, Hellcat Records) the band have carved out a space unto their own.
