Libbi Perry Stuffle has been singing 53 years. She is one of the founding members of her family group, The Perrys. Libbi has been voted Female Vocalist two years. Favorite Alto for nine years. She was also the recipient of the Prestigious Susan Unthank Award given by Absolutely Gospel Music. She has numerous other awards from various different Gospel Music Associations. She is also Gospel Music Association Dove Award winner.
She was raised in Dahlonega, GA. Lib was saved August 27, 1973 at the age of 10 years old. She is quick to tell you her experience of meeting Jesus and asking him into her heart. 1997 made the move to Morristown, TN with her late husband Tracy and son Jared. In 2006 they later relocated to Nashville, TN. Along with singing with The Perrys, she also does Women's Conferences and solo dates across the country. She has a tremendous story from not only her childhood and family tragedies, but also, the five year journey of her late husband's illness of a massive stroke. Her testimony is straight from the heart. She gives God all the glory and honor for all He has brought her and her family through over the years.
Lib has a list of songs that she has help introduce to the Gospel Music world such as, Still Bless, Celebrate Me Home, Did I Mention, Walk Me Through, Never A Time, The Potter Knows the Clay, I Will Find You Again, Love is Alive, Mountaintop for Me, His Grace will lead Me Home, This is What Heaven Means to Me, God Walks the Dark Hills, Out of Harms Way, Power in Prayer and many more.
Some of her heroes of the faith are Her Dad & Mom, Kyla Rowland, Dottie Rambo, Vestal Goodman, Debra Talley, CeCe Winans, Kenny Hinson, Pastor Jim Cymbala, Rev. Johnny Hunt, late Dr. Charles Stanley, Pastor Bruce Chesser, Randy Perry, Debra Reed and Rachel Trivette.
Her main purpose in her calling is to introduce the lost to Jesus Christ. Encourage and up lift a world so full of hurt, troubles and trials. Her motto and prayer is, Lord, hide me behind the cross so the world doesn't see me, but they see you high and lifted up! Also, "Have fun and make memories."
