Trapt's acoustic show was pretty much what I expected. I love a good post-grunge hard rock band, doin' an acoustic set. After somewhat bein off the grid for a couple decades, then all the social media contraversy in last few years and a couple lineup changes, I wasn't really sure what to expect.... but I caught them at a really small dive venue on a Tuesday night, in a blizzard and didn't regret it! They played for an hour and a half or so, and gave us a mix of the old hits and played songs off of their last two albums, that the crowd wasn't familiar with. Chris sang and played guitar effortlessly to broken down versions of every song, and he sounded great! And he left all the politics talk out (which was a great choice). If you went through your tough years listening to Trapt like I did, its definitely worth checking out. I love a good comeback tour. I'm rooting for these guys!
