Paul Ryan Biography
Indie Artist Paul Ryan delivers an authentic style of music with his warm guitar tones, intellectual lyrics and strong delivery. His debut single 'The Divine Sky' has been highly praised for it's honest and open acoustic sound. Originally from Birmingham, UK - he has been predominately playing venues, and recording in London since he first played live at the beginning of 2022.
The material from his debut album has been often cited as Dylanesque, due to the folky nature of the themes surrounding his songs, topics such as state propaganda, slavery, racism and political history. Other major influences of his work are Paul Simon, The Smiths, Paul McCartney, Nick Drake, Joy Division as well as many others which can be evidently heard in his own art.
With the release of his fifth single 'Multitudes', it provides an extremely alternative, and piercing melody - which has solidified his position as a serious artist. His highly anticipated debut album 'The Divine Sky' releases November 2024.
