It’s been a very typical path for Mick Fury navigating the tides of the Nashville scene. 9 years after moving to Music City from his home in Syracuse, NY, Mick has managed to corral a bit of wind in his sails. Mick recently composed 90 minutes worth of songs and score for Mel Gibson and Cole Hauser’s $10 millon dollar theatrical film PANAMA. He regularly places songs on the Young and The Restless, and has opened for everyone from Bret Michaels to Brothers Osborne, Bush and Vertical Horizon. WMOT Roots Radio in Nashville said of his 2023 album 1981-1996 “Mick has given his generation a voice on his anthemic 10 song album” with Saving Country Music calling it “An album we’re excited about!” Mick is a 2023 and 2024 Josie Awards nominee for the Folk/Americana artist of the year, and has performed at the Key West Songwriter Fest, Songwriter Serenade in Austin, TX, Muscle Shoals Songwriter Fest and St. Augustine Songwriter Festival.
