About this concert
Hot on the heels of unleashing their #1 charting sophomore album ‘Mutation’, Australian heavy alt-rock powerhouses RedHook are extending the celebrations across the UK and Europe, announcing their first ever headline tour for April/May 2025.
The 15-date run will kick off in Southampton before heading to London, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Bristol to wrap up the UK leg. The European shenanigans will then begin in the Netherlands, with RedHook visiting fans in Eindhoven and Haarlem (NL), before heading to Hamburg and Berlin (GER), Prague (CZ), Vienna (AUS) and wrapping up with a trio of German dates in Stuttgart, Cologne and Frankfurt.
RedHook’s debut UK/EU headline tour follows several previous visits for summer festival season, where they ignited stages at globally-renowned festivals Download (UK), Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park (GER) and Rock For People (CZ) and supported bands such as Stand Atlantic, Three Days Grace and The Faim. Their most recent visit in October 2024 saw them join Dream State (UK) on a largely sold-out run of dates, giving RedHook a firm gauge of just how much love there is for their music in the Northern Hemisphere.
RedHook vocalist Emmy Mack comments:
“I don’t think we’ll ever get used to the feeling of going to the other side of the world and seeing a room full of people singing our songs back to us. We’re excited AF to finally be putting our big boy pants on and coming back to give fans in the UK and EU their first full RedHook live show experience and celebrate the new album with our first ever headline shows! It’s about time!! We can’t wait to make some bad decisions with you all.”
RedHook’s sophomore record 'Mutation' was released in November 2024 and immediately went #1 on the Australian ARIA Charts, with widespread playlist support from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Deezer. The band has also been featured on the cover of Spotify's 'All New Rock', ‘New Nu’, 'Rock Out.', 'Homegrown + Heavy', and Amazon Music's 'Breakthrough Rock' and ‘#alt’ playlists.
Produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic), with assistant production from RedHook's own Craig Wilkinson and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore), 'Mutation' is an audacious, genre-bending second album that is unblinking in its lyrical honesty, ambitious sonic production, and infectiously memorable songwriting. Incorporating influences ranging from alt-pop, future bass and hip-hop to metal, punk and post-hardcore, RedHook are wholly unafraid to be uniquely themselves, combining layers of intricate synths, brass, heavy guitars, samples and dynamic drum work to create an intoxicating 11-track cocktail that hits like a molotov.
'Mutation' is also stacked with features from acclaimed acts Alpha Wolf (AU), Vana (NZ) and the UK’s own Holding Absence, who collaborated on previous single, the blockbuster pop-metalcore anthem ‘Dr. Frankenstein’.
