Bass Junkies, Unite! Wow!!! My first x seeing/hearing Buku live, and what a fantastic experience it was! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a music producer twist more knobs or grind out more heart-thumping sounds in less than an hour, ever!!! Robert definitely didn’t sleep through his Music Technology classes in PA. He came to learn the craft and finesse of the art, and it shows on stage. You definitely wanna make time and budget to check him out if he ever comes your way. I wish I’d been able to meet him after the show just to shake his hand and praise his solid performance. This guy has staying power!! Cheers for an awesome Friday night, Buku! See you next time! Peace and blessings!!

Buku Biography
From the track record of Robert Balotsky's work as Buku, it’s clear that the Pittsburgh native and graduate of Music Technology is a well-equipped architect of twisted, layered soundscapes. With a menacing grasp on sound design and music theory, Buku combines deceptively simple and emotive melodies, laden with resounding low-end and intricate drum patterns. With a love of drums rooted early in his childhood, his work reflects his passion for percussion laced with elements only a trained ear could produce.
