Consistency, Dedication, Community, and Heart are four undeniable and accurate words that can describe the musical career of Dj Cantos. Cantos’ knowledge of Funk, Soul, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, allow him to continually create an ever changing, original mixture of House and Techno, showcasing all of these elements within his groove.
Producing music since 2004, Cantos has had his hands in some of the deepest, funkiest, and thumping dance music projects, and continues to push auditory boundaries. His most recent collaboration project with Hamza Rahimtula releasing music on WindHorse Records, Viva Recordings, Nervous Records, and Ocha Mzansi charting on Beatport and Traxsource top 100 track lists. Cantos’ music can be found on labels including Dynamite Disco Club, Unitiing Souls Music, GJJF, Blueprints, Ayize Songaa, CPR Digital, XDEEE, Selekta Recordings, LTHM, Deep and his own label HMNI Music releasing music over the last 2 decades. Cantos with his determination to be better with each production and dj set, he finds himself on the international stage touring overseas to play in Delhi and Bangalore, India October of 2024.
