Phil and the boys back at last and better than ever Never thought I would see that explosive TM energy live again , one of the best bands you might ever go to see .

So great to see this band back together after a 5 year hiatus. A very humble bunch of guys appreciative of the fan base that came back to see them and allowed them to shift to bigger venues than they thought they could fill. Their set started with a nice group harmony piece reflective of the gang being back together with phil. Their set moves through the established hits with upbeat rhythm that get you moving then into some of the lesser known songs. There's a bit of a lull in the middle that needs an injection of pace but when the pace does pick up again it's quality. I hope they stay together and release more albums with that bouncy rhythm of Oh Lorraine, white bear, built in forgetter, backwater zoo and the grit of Only Friend .

Great gig, the return of The Temperance Movement, wasn't really sure what to expect, but WOW they've still got it. what a voice Phil has (and what a fantastic dad dancer he is). Easy parking at the Venue and easy access into the Garage itself. superb wee sweaty venue. If you’re a short ass you'll struggle to see in places, we got a great spot on the stairs at the back and we missed nothing, seen a few arguments big folk standing in front of wee folk. (Why do they always insist on standing at the front) Would definitely go back to this venue in the future, and I already have tickets for TTM at the Barrowlands in a few months’ time. Cannot recommend highly enough, Band and Venue.

About The Temperance Movement

The Temperance Movement are a rare entity. A homegrown British talent with a career built upon a solid foundation of doing-it-right. Hitting the road, touring, and releasing expertly crafted albums in between.

Their story began proper in 2012 with the self-release of their debut EP ‘Pride’. This was followed by their debut full-length – the self-titled ‘The Temperance Movement’. 2016’s ‘White Bear’ came next and in 2018 the band scored their highest ever chart position when ‘A Deeper Cut’ landed in the UK Top 10 at position 6.

‘A Deeper Cut’ is itself simultaneously anthemic, defiant and cathartic. It bears echoes of the great rock ‘n’ roll icons of the ’60s and ’70s – The Faces and Led Zeppelin, Free and The Rolling Stones (whose singer, Mick Jagger, gave them the ultimate accolade when he handpicked The Temperance Movement to support the Stones in Europe in 2014 and in the US in 2015).

'Covers & Rarities' and 'Caught On Stage: Live & Acoustic' are the latest releases from The Temperance Movement - the former a career-spanning collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks, the latter features the very best live and acoustic recordings from the band.
