Op Eerste Kerstdag geef ik een miniconcert bij Stichting De Boshalte in het Amsterdamse Bos. 🎶 Gratis entree en gratis parkeren! Kom op woensdag 25 december 2024 van 15:00 tot 16:00 uur naar een ontspannend uur gevuld met jazz, pop, kerstliedjes en mijn eigen nummers. Ik zal solo voor u optreden in een intieme setting. Aanmelden hoeft niet, kom gewoon gezellig langs! Dit concert geeft mij tevens een buitengewone kans om met mijn muziek bij te dragen aan een hartverwarmende kerst voor senioren en kwetsbare mensen uit de buurt. ❤️

On Christmas Day, I will give a mini-concert at De Boshalte Foundation in the Amsterdamse Bos. 🎶 Free entrance and free parking! Join me on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM for a soothing hour filled with jazz, pop, Christmas tunes and my own songs. I will perform solo for you in an intimate setting. No need to register, just come along! This concert also gives me an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to a heartwarming Christmas for seniors and vulnerable people from the neighbourhood with my music. ❤️

Joelle Charan released her latest single 'I Believe In You - Acoustic' in January 2025, combining modern pop music with jazz influences, strings and Indian instrumentation. Through cinematic harmonies, the track radiates fairytale-like imagery. Her upcoming album was remixed and mastered by John Reynolds, known for his work with the likes of U2, Brian Eno, Damien Rice, and Sinéad O'Connor. Joelle enjoys international press and radio support with interviews, studio performances and airplay.
Amsterdam-based Joelle has built a solid track record of sold-out performances in the UK and the Netherlands over the past few years. Further highlights include singing in the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam for Festival Uitmarkt, Royal Theatre Carré as a soloist for ‘Duizend Stemmen in Carré’ and Paradiso Amsterdam for the Korendagen.
Upon graduating with a degree in jazz vocals (main subject), jazz piano and pop songwriting (side subjects) from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Joelle studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Her current singing coach is musical singer Margot Giselle of the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical Theatre.
