L'orne Biography

L'orne is a melancholic alternative band from Rotterdam, deeply entrenched in the exploration of slowcore and post-rock. Following the release of their debut EP, 'Electric Heat,' on Halloween 2022, the band is currently in the mixing phase of their first full-length album. This upcoming release promises to be even more poignant, with a blend of heightened sadness, weightier tones, dreamier atmospheres and a departure from their previous work. A key factor in this evolution is the transition from a computer-based two-piece band to a full four piece band, visually supported by 5th member.

Exploring themes such as death, dreaming, depression, and loneliness, L'orne weaves these concepts into their music, aiming to engage listeners in a deeply personal experience. On stage and in the studio, the band immerses themselves in emotions, crafting a sonic narrative meant to be embodied by the listener.

For enthusiasts of Swans, Duster, Chelsea Wolfe, and the cinematic allure of 'All about Lily Chou-Chou,' L'orne invites you into a world where music transcends mere auditory experience, offering a journey through the intricate landscapes of human emotion.

As the band embraces this new chapter with a full ensemble, they look forward to sharing their musical narratives on a broader scale, connecting their audience to the rich tapestry of their sonic and visual explorations.
