About this concert
Get ready for a musical combo you didn't know you needed!
Los Rebeldes seamlessly blends traditional Mexican Conjunto music with a modern twist. This fusion creates a unique sound where the accordion, trumpet, and guitar take center stage, honoring their culture while resonating with audiences. Throughout the years, various Cardona family members have contributed their talents on instruments like the trumpet, accordion, and guitar, making Los Rebeldes a dynamic, multigenerational force in music.
Alpensterne is one of the most unique and musically diversified groups performing today. The group performs some of Germany’s most loved folk songs with Jim Strehlke’s incredible jodeling. On the accordion and button box is Eric Ray. Eric’s talent on these two difficult instruments adds some serious Bavarian style to the group. Jim's sons, Aleks, and Erich, have joined the band, making this a family affair. Their authentic German singing and jodeling are true crowd-pleasers.
Both of these amazing bands will take the stage and join forces to play songs together, blending music and culture. You do not want to miss the one-night-only concert.

Los Rebeldes Biography
Los Rebeldes (The Rebels) is a Mexican-American group from southern Minnesota that has been performing since the early 1980s. Their style from the north blends with the traditions of the south to bring the musical styles of Tex-Mex, Conjunto, Country, Folk-Rock, and Cumbia alive on stage.
What started as playing Chicano music in the dance halls, Los Rebeldes has evolved to feature both Tex-Mex/Conjunto and classic Country favorites across the upper Midwest. Led by melodies on the accordion, trumpet, and guitar and with the sounds and styles of Freddy Fender to Willie Nelson, a Los Rebeldes show promises to be diverse, fun, and danceable!
