Sebastien Lanson Biography
Sebastien Lanson is a French jazz guitarist, composer, teacher and producer who's played and/or recorded with, amongst others, Louie Bellson, Jon Faddis, Eric-Maria Couturier and the Clover Trio, performing at venues such as the Monterey Jazz Festival in California, the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. Over the years, he's frequently collaborated with John L. Worley Jr., developing strong chemistry and interplay, some of which is displayed on his debut album, In Transition, 2004, produced by the pair. He also produced two albums for the Clover Trio, Harvest (2018) and Puppet Dance (2020), on his label Green Nose Productions. He has taught guitar, musicianship and improvisation privately as well as at the Stanford Jazz Workshop and currently teaches music courses at Sciences Po in Le Havre, France.
