It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! Loved the songs, so well sung.
I know they said "we don't try to look like them" but I ask "why not?"
Looks add to the whole dimension, atmosphere of the show, even just hints of it, eg waistjacket, cap, .... What we see does matter, does add to it.
It brings it all together as a tribute.... visually and auditorily,
For me it would have been welcome....seeing a bit of them too.
(I think it's a case of "we can't look exactly like them so we won't even try." Pity, as it doesn't have to be 100%....even just hints of likeness eg 20% would suffice....feeding the atmosphere.)
