About this concert
Sommige werken zijn tijdloos. En van die selecte groep muziekwerken zijn er maar weinig die live zó intens beleefd worden als ‘The Passion’ van de Brit Adrian Snell. Al bijna 50 jaar bezoekt hij Nederland en ‘The Passion’ werd een klassieker die hier door honderden koren is uitgevoerd. Wie het werk zo authentiek mogelijk, met de originele artiest, wilde beleven, kreeg weinig kansen. Maar in 2025 komt daar verandering in. Dan zal Adrian Snell, met behulp van een band, projectkoor en orkest, je ‘The Passion’ laten beleven zoals deze bedoeld is. De drie concerten in april vormen tegelijkertijd een afsluiting van een jubileumjaar.
