Tired of Fighting

Tired of Fighting are an explosive emo punk band from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England with a unique and captivating sound. Inspired by early 00’s emo such as Motion City Soundtrack and Taking Back Sunday, Tired of Fighting blend the energy of Paramore with the storytelling of The Gaslight Anthem.

Formed in 2019, Tired of Fighting were born when Nic Wood (vocals and guitar), who was well known in the local area for his huge, booming vocal delivery, was hounded by George Sharpe (Bass) to form a band and put some "oomph" behind the voice rather than just his signature acoustic guitar. A drummer was brought in and Tired of Fighting was formed.

The band went on to establish themselves as one of the most popular unsigned bands in the northeast of England, supporting national touring bands such as Mallory Knox along the way.

The band were soon ready to take their signature sound further afield, and with the help of management from Metathetic Music, were planning shows across the UK. The band went on to tour the UK and release several singles which showcase the band's energy and passion.

Recent festival appearances with bands such as Trash Boat and Heriot gave Tired of Fighting a taste of what's to come. Get ready to feel all the emotions...
