Live for you on stage is the pop-rock sensation of the moment from Birmingham: ACROBVT and one of the most exciting new indie rock bands from London: Electric Enemy. ACROBVT ACROBVT (formerly Rainbreakers), found great acclaim in the UK and mainland Europe with their first two blues-rock sound EPs. Sold-out tours and support slots with bands such as The Temperance Movement promised a breakthrough until COVID and lockdowns forced a reset. Perhaps this was a blessing for the band, though. The time away from the stage and studio offered Ben Edwards (vocals) a moment of calm to take stock of the longevity of their sound - were they too retro for the mainstream? Did their music appeal to too small an audience to gain wider recognition? During this period of soul-searching, they realised that the true motivation behind their music was the art of songwriting itself, rather than the specific genres they explored. Electric Enemy Driving guitar riffs meet perfectly crafted melodies to deliver a mature sound that cuts through the noise. After a string of successful releases and co-productions, radio plays are on the rise, as are sold-out shows in the UK. 2024 will see the release of the band's highly anticipated second album, which writer/producer Lawton says is his best work to date.
