Returning to Cobalt once again, State of Satta bring happy warm rays of reggae for their eagerly anticipated album launch. Enjoy the swagger of the brass & their triumphant energy that’s bound to make you smile.
State of Satta are a dynamic 7-piece Reggae band hailing from Leeds. Formed in the turbulent year of 2020, they’ve quickly made waves in the UK music scene with their energetic stage presence and triumphant sound. Their rambunctious bass lines and beautifully crafted multi-lingual melodies in French, Spanish, and English set them apart, carrying on the lineage of bands like Gentleman’s Dub Club, UB40 and Fat Freddy’s Drop.

State of Satta are a 7-piece Reggae band based in Leeds. Having formed in the ashes of 2020, the band have quickly established a name for themselves with their energetic stage show, rambunctious bass lines and beautifully crafted multi-lingual melodies.
Inspired by the sounds of Reggae and Cuban music, State of Satta are carrying on the lineage of bands like Gentleman’s Dub Club, UB40 and Fat Freddy’s Drop amongst many other reggae influences.
The bands line-up consists of Yotam Sigwalt on guitar/vocals, Ben Burnside on drums, Luke Roy Bryan on bass, Aidan Ruffle on Trombone and FX, Emyr Dance on Trumpet, Billy Burls on percussion and Robin Forkin on Keys.
State of Satta released their debut album ‘Simmer Down’ in 2024.
