Georgian Chamber Players Biography
The Georgian Chamber Players include David Coucheron, Zhenwei Shi, Elizabeth Pridgen, and Julie Coucheron. The group was formed by principal players of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in 1984 in order to perform masterpieces of the chamber repertoire with their Atlanta Symphony Orchestra colleagues and world-renowned guest instrumentalists. The ensemble has performed with many outstanding artists, including pianists Emanuel Ax, Andre Watts, and Philippe Entremont; violinists Shlomo Mintz, Joseph Silverstein, and Robert McDuffie; cellist Janos Starker; and guitarist David Leisner. We hope you will join us at one of our upcoming performances!
