Chris Reali Biography
Chris is a singer-songwriter, and a multi-instrumentalist. He describes his music as "Traditional Sounds for Modern Times." Over the past thirty years Chris has performed professionally on guitar (his primary instrument), drums, electric bass, keyboards, trumpet, and sax. Chris has performed in venues across the United States as well as a four month residency in Nagasaki, Japan. Some of the groups Chris has performed with include:
Rotor (drums, vocal - alternative rock)
The Willies (lead guitar, vocal - power pop)
Hometown Prophets (lap steel - Americana)
Monodrone (guitar, vocal, samples - guitar electronica)
The Jen Band (guitar, pedal steel, vocal - rock)
The Patio Daddy-o's (keyboards, guitar, vocal, music director - R&B/rock)
Hudson River Drifters (guitar, bass, vocal, songwriter - Americana)
Supercollider (guitar, vocal, songwriter - gnarlpop)
Chris toured the United States, Canada, and Western Europe working as a guitar technician and tour manager for Chris Whitley, and as a guitar technician for David Gray. These tours included working at Saturday Night Live, Late Nite with David Letterman, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Top of the Pops (England), and many other television and radio shows.
