Bjorn Again (AUSTRALIA)

The internationally acclaimed Björn Again show, created in 1988 by Australian musician/manager Rod Stephen, has become the world’s most successful tribute show of all time, and is the only ABBA tribute show globally to have been endorsed by the original members of ABBA. This tongue-in-cheek, rocked-up ABBA satire achieved global cult status, sparking the ABBA revival that led to ABBA Gold, Muriel’s Wedding, and Mamma Mia! Now in its 37th year, Björn Again has performed 5,500 shows in 75 countries, grossing over £45 million worldwide. The show has involved over 100 international musicians and vocalists, and 400 technical crew members. Recognized by ABBA’s Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Again aims to maintain its distinctly Australian production while continuing to perform ABBA’s beloved repertoire in its unique style. This success is evidenced by the group’s invitations to open the Glastonbury Festival in 1999, 2009, and 2019.
