Matteo Bocelli

Matteo Bocelli put on a fabulous concert, as always. He is a superb performer and has a great connection with the audience. He sings to those in the upper balconies, too. His voice is so soft and smooth, yet very powerful. He begins his concerts with "Solo" and "Close", two beautiful pop songs he wrote, and ends with his operatic voice singing "Caruso". Everything in between is totally entertaining. On top of that, the he is so authentic, humble, charismatic, and appreciative of the audience. The Moore Theater, however, is very outdated, and the staff did a terrible job. I had tickets for the Meet and Greet, and we waited in lines, both inside and out, for nearly an hour. Then, we had to line up down some old steps to the dark basement where we met Matteo, but by this time, things were running late, and we were rushed through. It was nothing like my two previous Meet and Greets that ran smoothly. After that, we had to stand in line for more than an hour, waiting for the doors to open, and they opened nearly 1/2 hour late. So, it was an "A+" for Matteo and an "D-" for the Moore staff.
