About this concert
The Jason Lane Band is a five piece band that delivers the best of upbeat, dance-able rock and blues music from the 70s to 90s. Fronted by powerhouse singer Chantal Sayers, the band pays homage to the songs that influenced them and the powerful female singers of that time. Sing along with tributes to Alannah Myles, Aretha Franklin, Sass Jordan, Tracy Chapman and Lady Gaga just to mention a few.
Although the band leans heavily on covering these classic tunes, they have also released three EPs containing their own original rock-blues sound. The JLB sound has received rave reviews and you will find a few of these in bands set.
Featuring Rob Cooper on Drums and Bruce Morrison on Bass.

Jason Lane Band Biography
The Jason Lane Band, hailing from Vancouver, Canada, is a blues ensemble deeply rooted in the realms of rock and pop music. Their signature style seamlessly melds traditional blues elements with the infectious melodies and harmonies of pop, all set against the backdrop of electrifying rock guitar. The outcome is a refined, soulful, and irresistibly groovy sound that bridges the gap between the contemporary and the modern.
At its core, The Jason Lane Band consists of a dynamic brother-sister duo, featuring Jason Lane Amott as the guitarist, and Chantal Sayers Amott, as the powerhouse vocalist. The rhythm section is expertly held together by Robbie Cooper on percussion and Mark Vescovi on bass.
Their music has not gone unnoticed in the industry, as evidenced by their accolades. In 2023, they clinched the prestigious International BC Blues Challenge title and were crowned Band of the Year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards.
