Her breakout record Piece of Me (Big Crown Records) turned heads with its intimate songwriting and analog warmth, drawing comparisons to Lauryn Hill and Aretha Franklin while sounding entirely her own. Whether she's belting heartbreak anthems or grooving through funk-laced cuts, her live show is a full-body, full-heart experience. The warm up is provided by 54 Ultra, the New Jersey project of Johnny Rodriguez, whose glossy, genre-bending sound fuses synth-pop, Latin soul, and coastal indie rock. Their recent single “Upside Down” showcases shimmering guitar work, slick production, and bilingual lyrics that drift between longing and celebration.
