Laney Jones

I subscribe to the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi. The art of breaking and being glued back together again with gold. As a songwriter and as a person, that’s what I’m interested in, a broken beautiful life. I’ve been riding the flow state wave of songwriting for just over a decade now, studying everything from clawhammer banjo in my native state of Florida with Steve Martin Banjo Award Winner Mark Johnson to hit-songwriting with Kara DioGuardi at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I currently reside in Nashville, TN. When I'm not making noise in the studio with my drummer/partner Brian and my dog Hap, I’m out on the road. Breathing in and out, trying to keep shining this little light of mine. Shine on y'all.
