Julie Slim & RendezVous

Julie Slim founded RendezVous in 2013 as a tribute to all the musical influences in her life. Inspired by the French and jazz standards that she heard growing up in Beirut, Lebanon, Julie Slim & RendezVous premiered their first concert at Esquina Tango with Michael Stevens on bass, Ethan Vlah on percussion, Shirley Johnson on accordion, Roberto Paolo Riggio on violin, and grammy award winning arranger and keyboardist Dr. James Polk. RendezVous has released three albums, the latest being a full length album titled "Promenade Sentimentale" available on CdBaby, iTunes and Amazon and streaming on Spotify. RendezVous has performed in Austin and surrounding towns in a variety of combinations and has grown to include repertoire in Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic in addition to French, as well as originals that they are constantly creating.
