Releasing her first EP in 2018, Gabriela gained early backing from Gilles Peterson on BBC 6 Music, and BBC Introducing in Essex who invited her to perform live on air and has continued to support ever since. Further releases have brought enthusiastic support on BBC 6 Music from Tom Robinson (Fresh On The Net) and multiple live sessions for BBC Radio London with Robert Elms. Write-ups in Notion & Earmilk followed, and over 1.2 million Spotify streams with playlist adds including Fresh Finds and Kitchen Swagger.

Gabriela’s burgeoning career has also seen her perform on prestigious stages in London, including the Royal Albert Hall 'Elgar Room,' and the iconic Ronnie Scotts. Her performances have also reached audiences in Central America, Asia, and Europe. Notable achievements include performing at prominent UK festivals such as Glastonbury 'Greenpeace', Sofar Sounds 'Sunday Papers Live' at Wilderness, Earth Garden in Malta, Latitude, and various smaller festivals nationwide as well as Shanghai’s The Green Note.
