A longtime member of the Grammy-winning Jamiroquai, Sola has been integral to the Jamiroquai sound - producing the groove chemistry that has rocked the last seven albums. He has recently been honoured with his second consecutive BMI Award for Best Film & TV Score for his work on Warner Bros US hit comedy series, Bob Hearts Abishola, which continues to captivate audiences, drawing over 5 million viewers for its latest season. Sola?s music has reached millions worldwide?Sola?s music has been in households the world over, even if his name hasn?t been on everyone?s lips. Born in Yorubaland, Nigeria, and raised in London, Sola?s sound is a rich fusion of deep cultural heritage and the UK?s vibrant, eclectic music scene. Sola Akingbola Biography

Sola Akingbola is a Composer, Percussionist and Singer Songwriter who released his second album in October 2024 called How Should I Part 1.
Between recording several albums with the British Acid Jazz Funk band Jamiroquai , Sola has been writing music for US television and UK theatre - RSC and The National Theatre.
He is currently performing live with his own group, The Eegun Rhapsodies, drawing on the poetry of his Yoruba ancestry, combined with the influence of the Greek classics and the sounds of the UK.
