Laventure Biography
Strasbourg-based songwriter and producer Laventure adapts songs composed in her bedroom with her band.
Guided by the surprises of the composer, the show sails on the energetic impulses of Remi Wolf, the dark and sensual vibes of Yves Tumor and draws inspiration from the colorful helium fantasy of Connan Mockasin, all while keeping in mind great pop symbols (Prince, Kate Bush, Fleetwood Mac).
Where the measurement of fun is generous and the innocence apparent, an undercurrent emerges. Unleashed and versatile vocals, heroic guitars, rhythmic chases, Laventure continues from one intensity to another. Parties or defeats share their part of charms and vertigos.
Sensitivity and audacity mingle in a concert in the form of a middle finder to slut shaming that debunks the sexist biases prevalent in everyday life and in the music scene.
Since its creation in 2021, Laventure has played at Studio 104 for Nouvelle Scène Radio France, MaMA, Crossroads, ℅ POP in Cologne, Waves in Vienna and are among the finalists for the Prix Chorus 2024. Her first EP “MAD GIRL” was released on September 20 and is part of the Feraliste 2024.
