GRAMMY® Award winning singer, songwriter, and musician Rick Springfield returns to Ruth Eckerd Hall on the 2025 edition of his “I Want My ‘80s Tour”, featuring special guests John Waite, John Cafferty and Wang Chung! Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and is the creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ‘80s, selling 25 million albums and scoring 17 U.S. Top 40 hits. He’s an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayals of Lucifer on the CW hit Supernatural and Pastor Charles on American Horror Story. The tour will feature such enduring hits as "Jessie’s Girl", "Don’t Talk to Strangers", "Missing You", "Everybody Have Fun Tonight", "Every Time You Go Away", "On the Dark Side" and many more of the most iconic songs of the ‘80s. This special tour is sure to delight music fans of what is regularly described as the greatest decade in pop/rock music.

The legendary multi-platinum "East Coast Rock'n'Roll" group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1972 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the "Eddie & The Cruisers - Motion Picture Soundtrack". The hit single "On the Dark Side" held the "Number-One" position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for “five” consecutive weeks. The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA.
The title track from the group's 1985 follow-up album “Tough All Over” became their second "Number-One" single on the Billboard Rock charts and the song “C-I-T-Y” reached the Billboard Top 20. John Cafferty's solo track "Hearts on Fire" was featured in the Sylvester Stallone film "Rocky IV” and he received his second double Platinum soundtrack award. Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures.
